Bungie is opening up a limited playtest for its upcoming sci-fi shooter, Marathon, running from October 22-28. Players in North America and Europe can jump in to try out three maps and five runner shells, with tweaks to combat pacing. This closed event follows player feedback that pushed back the game’s launch to April 2026. Interested gamers can apply until October 16, with Steam applications available from October 13-26. This is a key opportunity for Bungie to refine Marathon before its release.
