At a recent Battlefield 6 event in London, design director Shashank Uchil confirmed that upcoming DLC skins will stick to a military theme, focusing on realism instead of celebrity tie-ins. With artwork showcasing soldiers in a war-torn New York City, Uchil aims to keep visuals gritty. This stands in contrast to Call of Duty's trend of celebrity characters. EA's Vince Zampella also noted that Battlefield 6 is a “spiritual successor” to Battlefield 3 and 4, promising large maps and a return to the essence of what fans loved about the series.
