People Can Fly, famous for Painkiller and Outriders, has pulled the plug on two projects: Project Gemini with Square Enix and VR title Project Bifrost. CEO Sebastian Wojciechowski pointed to ongoing issues with communication and funding as major reasons. The studio, which just hit its 20-year mark, also laid off over 30 developers linked to Project Gemini. Despite these hurdles, they’re still pushing forward with Gears of War: E-Day and a secret PlayStation project, determined to keep their creative spirit alive.
