Microsoft Goes Digital-Only for Major Xbox Games

Microsoft is ditching physical copies for its big Xbox titles, including The Outer Worlds 2, Ninja Gaiden 4, and Gears of War: Reloaded. Xbox Series X|S users will only get download codes, while PS5 players can snag physical versions. CEO Phil Spencer highlights the shift towards digital sales, a trend that’s becoming the norm in gaming. Gears of War: Reloaded drops on August 26, with the others following in October.
