Maxis is launching a Maker Program and Marketplace for The Sims 4 on March 17, 2026. This new platform allows players to create and sell custom mod packs, giving content creators aged 18 and over a chance to earn from their work. Players will buy items using a new currency called 'Moola,' which can only be purchased, not earned in-game. While free mods can still be shared outside this system, any paid content will need to be exclusive to the Marketplace. Does this shift enhance your interest in The Sims community?
