Sony has announced that players won’t need to log into a PlayStation Network (PSN) account to play four of its popular single-player games on PC, including Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, The Last of Us Part II Remastered, God of War Ragnarök, and Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered. While signing in is no longer mandatory, Sony will offer in-game content unlocks like outfits and resources as incentives for players who choose to log in. These bonuses come alongside benefits like trophies and friend management, addressing previous backlash over the PSN account requirement for PC games.
