Truxton Extreme is set to launch on July 30, 2026, marking the series' first new game in 38 years. Clear River Games and Tatsujin are bringing back the iconic shoot 'em up with a fresh twist, featuring fully rendered 3D graphics while maintaining the original design ethos.
Masahiro Yuge, the original creator, is back to deliver a mix of nostalgic gameplay and modern elements. Players will use a range of weapons to battle alien enemies and face massive bosses, all while enjoying a revamped soundtrack filled with classic and new tracks.
