Konami is set to charm fans of its classic Suikoden series with the upcoming mobile game, Suikoden Star Leap, launching on iOS and Android. This marks the franchise's first new release in over a decade, featuring a free-to-play model with optional purchases. Players will join young hero Hou and his friends as they navigate turmoil in their village, reminiscent of the original games with 108 characters to recruit. The pixel-art style returns, steering away from the recent 3D graphics, and the narrative unfolds between Suikoden V and I, spotlighting Odessa Silverberg. Additionally, a remaster of the first two titles is on the horizon, adding modern conveniences like adjustable battle speeds and auto-saves, scheduled for March 6.
