Remedy Entertainment is facing tough times with its co-op shooter, FBC: Firebreak, which launched in June but lacks key features like voice chat. Despite an update, player count remains low, hitting just 25 active users. Their latest financial report shows a 32% revenue drop, largely due to Firebreak’s performance, leading to a €14.9 million impairment. Interim CEO Markus Mäki is hopeful, pointing out the tech wins and lessons learned. The studio is shifting focus to more promising projects like Control 2 and a Max Payne remake, while still keeping an eye on Firebreak, though progress will be slower.
