Nolan North recently reflected on his role as Desmond Miles in Assassin's Creed. He was surprised by Desmond's death in Assassin's Creed 3, learning about it from a fan rather than the studio. North had expected to voice Desmond in several more games, hinting at plans for up to nine installments. Fans still feel nostalgic, but North acknowledges the series' modern-day storyline has struggled without him.
