Cyberpunk 2077 has officially sold over 35 million copies since its rocky launch in December 2020, surpassing The Witcher 3's sales pace. The game's recent resurgence is largely thanks to the Phantom Liberty expansion, which sold over 10 million units. CD Projekt plans to expand its team for Cyberpunk 2, although that sequel isn't expected until at least 2028.
