Remedy Entertainment has announced that Alan Wake 2 has surpassed 2 million copies sold by the end of 2024, marking a financial milestone as the game has now recouped its development and marketing costs. This means Remedy has begun earning royalties from the title. In other news, Control 2 has entered full production, with co-financing from Annapurna Pictures, ensuring Remedy has creative freedom over the project. Annapurna is also expanding Remedy’s IPs, including Alan Wake and Control, into film and television. Despite a mass resignation at Annapurna Interactive, Remedy confirmed that the Control 2 deal remains unaffected.
