Razer Teams Up to End Cheating with Iris Scans

World Network, co-founded by Sam Altman, has partnered with Razer to tackle cheating in online gaming through iris scanning technology. The new system uses a device called the Orb to verify players' identities, linking them to a secure World ID. This ID opens up access to exclusive tournaments and in-game perks. While privacy concerns loom over biometric data collection, World Network promises that all data will be encrypted and stored locally, not on external servers. This collaboration aims to keep gaming fair by differentiating between real players and bots.
