Blizzard has dropped the '2' from Overwatch, signaling a fresh start for the franchise. At the Overwatch Spotlight event, they unveiled a year-long story called 'The Reign of Talon,' where players will see the Talon faction trying to dominate the globe. This narrative will unfold through hero trailers, animated comics, and in-game events over six seasons, starting February 10 with five new heroes.
The new characters include Talon members Domina and Emre, as well as Anran and Jetpack Cat from Overwatch. A new Meta Event called 'Conquest' will allow players to choose sides and earn exclusive rewards. Plus, a complete UI redesign is on the way to improve gameplay.
