Studio MDHR has announced two new Cuphead projects at Summer Game Fest 2026. The first, Mighty Cuphead Adventure, is an 8-bit platformer reminiscent of classic 80s games, built with Assembly Language for that nostalgic touch. This title will be available on modern platforms, including the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2.
In addition, a new hand-animated Cuphead game is in the works, promising more adventures with familiar characters. While details are still sparse, co-founder Chad Moldenhauer hinted at a focus on craftsmanship. Are you excited for these new Cuphead adventures?
