Netflix Ditches Shooter Game for Family Focus

Netflix has pulled the plug on its ambitious AAA shooter, previously in the works by a team with Halo and Destiny veterans. Alain Tascan from Netflix’s gaming division noted that the game didn’t fit the company’s new direction. Instead, they’re pivoting towards family-friendly titles like party games and narrative adventures, aiming for mobile and TV streaming. With fresh projects like Spry Fox's Spirit Crossing and Yu Suzuki's Steel Paws on the horizon, Netflix is gearing up to find its place in the gaming scene.
