Nintendo's Switch 2 introduces GameChat, a social feature that lets players connect with up to twelve friends and share screens with four at once. While it faces some performance issues, like frame rate drops during screen sharing and mediocre microphone quality, many players appreciate the ability to watch friends’ gameplay without interrupting their own. Older Switch games keep their resolution, and though some still favor Discord for voice chat, GameChat offers a fresh twist to gaming together. There's definitely room for improvement, but it's a step in a fun direction.
