CD Projekt has kicked off pre-production for Cyberpunk 2, building on the success of Phantom Liberty, which sold 10 million copies. A tight-knit team of 96 is working on the sequel, focusing on a fresh city vibe described as 'like Chicago gone wrong.' Mike Pondsmith, Cyberpunk's creator, is reviewing scripts, hinting at exciting new twists, though he's taking a step back this time. While there's no set release date, co-CEO Michał Nowakowski suggests it could take four to five years to launch. Meanwhile, CD Projekt is also developing The Witcher 4 and a new Cyberpunk animation for Netflix, proving they're all in on expanding these worlds.
